College Collaboration Program
The concurrent enrollment through the College of San Mateo’s College Connection program allows students to receive college, as well as high school, credit for completing classes at CSM. 
Ziraffa employs three different types of college classes:

Campus class: 

We attend one class on campus as a group, exposing students to the college atmosphere and college life.  The coursework will be done as part of our classwork at Ziraffa.  

TV Class:

• Using the distance learning technology allows us to conduct a college class at Ziraffa.  Group discussions are used to help students understand the content, and work on the assignments

Online Class:

• Some subjects are best learned at the student’s own pace.  Math is an example in which mastery of one level is crucial for success at the next.  Online classes allow a student to be actively engaged in the material, and provide instant feedback.  Vocabulary or other “kill and drill” skills are also good options for individual learning.
